Actirhodobacter atriluteus gen. nov., sp. nov., isolated from the surface water of the Yellow Sea

A Gram-stain-negative, aerobic, orange-pigmented bacterial strain, designated HHU K3-1 T, was isolated from the surface water of Yellow Sea. The strain observed to grow on 2216E agar medium, and growth occurred at pH 6.0–8.0 (optimum 7.0), 28–37 °C 28 °C), in presence 0.5–5% (w/v) NaCl 1–3%). major fatty acids (> 10%) were summed feature 3 (C16:1?6c/C16:1?7c), C17:1?6c 8 (C18:1?6c/C18:1?7c). Strain T found contain ubiquinone-10 as predominant quinone polar lipids diphosphatidylglycerol (DPG), phosphatidylethanolamine (PE), phosphatidylglycerol (PG) sphingoglycolipid (SGL). 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis indicated that shared highest similarities with Pelagerythrobacter marensis KCTC 22370 (97.7%) Qipengyuania oceanensis MCCC 1A09965T (96.9%). However, a phylogenetic tree based 288 orthologous clusters (OCs) close related Parapontixanthobacter aurantiacus 1A09962T. pairwise AAI evolutionary distance between 1A09962T are 67.1% 0.43, respectively, which meet recently proposed standard differentiate genera family Erythrobacteraceae. On basis result obtained by polyphasic taxonomic study, can be considered represent novel genus Erythrobacteraceae, for name Actirhodobacter atriluteus gen. nov., sp. nov. is proposed. type (= 1K04225T = 72834 CGMCC 1.17395 T).
